FIELDS OF APPLICATION / INDICATION:
• for early functional treatment of thigh
and lower leg fractures or other acute
or chronic illnesses requiring relief
• surgically or conservatively treated, nonload
stable thigh fractures, periarticular
fractures of the knee and fractures of
the proximal lower leg
• growth irregularities of the knee
(aseptic bone necroses)
FUNCTION / PROPERTIES:
• complete relief of the leg through transfer of the floor
reaction force to the torchanter major; provides complete
relief of the traumatised thigh / lower leg and foot
• available with forefoot support or for dynamic partial
loading
• dynamic partial loading provides a gradual transition from
complete relief to full loading
• the use of the forefoot support prevents the foot from
caving into talipes equinus position
• the use of the forefoot support prevents the foot from

• contralateral balance is required
• reduces muscular atrophy, thrombosis and joint stiffness
• easy attachment and removal of the orthosis allows
physiotherapeutic rehabilitation and mobilisation
at any time
